Id go Vodafone tbh, they are Ericssons test boys and usually have the earliest implementation of HSDPA etc.
Wouldnt touch 3 with a barge pole....

Tony - For what reason?

I have used THREE for about 5yrs now and before that Vodafone for about 15yrs. Never had a problem with internet access on 3g (and I use it nearly every day quite a bit) and they offer by far the best value. Obviously opinions vary, but I also know people that think Vodafone are tosh. I think Vodafone are good, but they offer no where near the same deals as THREE, so it is a no brainer for me. So a bit more detail may help the OP me thinks.

I'm on Voda, pay £35 a month get 800mins unlimited texts and unlimeted Internet connectivity which is a good deal I find because I use all my mins and do an amazing amount of text etc.

That being said, you should probably check the coverage for all the networks and see which best suits you!

Why leave o2?

I'm leaving 02 as they charged me £90 for using the internet when I have an unlimited web bolt on and they refuse to waive it!

Shaun, I tried 3 years ago and I couldn't wait till my contract ended, I spent most of the time on the phone cusring as I could never hear anyone as it kepp dropping calls.

Since t-mobile are going to merge with orange it makes no difference which one I take there?? So its either those or Vodafone? and between those it will be who offers the best phones constantly as the ones on offer from 02 seem to be right in the budget end of the scale unless you want to be ripped off and pay a fortune for an iphone 3gs!

Strange.... never had any problems like that with three. Perhaps it is because I live in an area that has electric, running water and gas!

Their network coverage map looks good, but its not as good as it seems, a few friends have all moved off 3 due to lots of random disconnects (unfortunately if your making a call on a 3g cell and it hands you over to a 2g cell it bins you because the 2g cell is on a different network ) even so, the data coverage was horrid, its ok if you dont move, but on the move, oh nasty though probably has something to do with skype

When I had my contract it used to piggyback on the 02 network for normal call and I could rarely get a signal! When my 3 contract finished I actually moved to 02 and I could get an excellent signal everywhere.

I have always found T-Mobile have reasonable tariffs and good coverage. My wife has Solo 25 (here: Pay Monthly Sim Cards - Mobile Phone SIM Cards - T Mobile) and uses the internet on her iPhone quite a lot and even manages to get close to the 800 minutes a month!

I took out a 12month contract with t-mobile and got an HTC touch pro2 phone with unlimited internet. Just waiting for some screen protectors for the phone before I subject it to the conditions of where I work. Using it on my home wifi network it seems ok. I just need to get used to a windows mobile device again
