Modern Warfare 2 Beta...
Has anybody else been invited to the closed beta?? I have had several e-mails and now have my Beta redeem code which will allow me to download the beta on August 10th
Hasnt cost me anything, and the only thing i have to do is provide feedback regarding to glitch's, gameplay, etc etc
Roll on the 10th

basiclly, i sent Infinity ward an e-mail when they annouced that they were developing Modern Warfare 2 many moons ago. Basiclly aknowlendged interest in the game and offered to help with testing of the game once it was complete.
They replied with an e-mail thanking me for the offer but they had a dedicated team of people who test the game for them and that at the present time no 'public' testing would be required.
However, about a month ago i recieved a random e-mail asking if i was still interested in testing the game, albeit the online multi-player version on 3 selected maps in the near future. Needless to say accepted the offer and asked for details.
Then yesterday, i recieved an e-mail again outlining the details of beta, what is required of me (reporting faults, glitches etc) and the redeem voucher for the market place to download and start playing from the 10th of August
Im led to believe its a closed beta to begin, but will be opened to the public after a period of time to see whether the servers can handle the game etc.
Will keep all posted as to how i go on

very observant boro mate dont believe everything you read on a forum mind. The user who started the thread isnt an Infinity Ward Member of staff, just a user. If you read through, no modertators have denied or admitted whether one is active.
as it is, there isnt one active (to my knowledge) but is from the 10th. However i may only be able to access it on the 10th as they introduce people in waves. Im not 100% certain on that
