make a composite key of the unique records.

E.g. For an album list:
Column B=Artist
Column C=Single Title
Column D=Album Featured
Column E=Solo Artist (Y/N) etc.
Unique key would be a combintation of B & C:
Formula in cell a2: =concatenate(b2,c2)

Martin.

Thumbs up

Use Advanced Filter.

1) Sort your column into alphabetical order.
2) Select the whole column
3) Data, Filter, Advanced Filter
4) Select Copy to another location
5) Tick the Unique Records Only box
6) The criteria can be any blank cell
7) Select the copy to location
8) Bingo

You can filter in place as well. Sometimes it repeats the top value twice, but the rest will be unique.

[Edited to say that this is for filtering unique records from a one column list]
