Any ideas why Firefox won't save my passwords or usernames

Whenever I go to log on to hotmail, scoobynet etc. after the PC being turned off I have to type in my username and password every time even though I click on remember password.

Any ideas?

This in v3.5? mine does the same, prolly a bug.
