ANYONE FROM SKY TECNICAL SUPPORT ON HERE? PORT FORWARDING ROUTER HELP REQ'D
I have setup a webserver at home however my Sky SAGEM router (which I believe is a F@st 2504 - small grey/black box with sky logo on it) needs to be configured to forward port 80 to my machine. I have attempted absolutely everything to achieve this but it still doesn't seem to work.
Anyone got any instructions on port forwarding for this router?
Cheers

this still didn't work and turns out to be what I've already tried. I've set up a service to forward port 80, then allowed the firewall to accept inbound IP's and forward the service I set up on to my PC (192.168.0.2 - gained from running ipconfig from a command prompt).
Any ideas?

I had a similar problem on my Be Box, I couldnt' get port forwading to work as I can access my PC remotely with some software I have. The eventual answer was to enable NAT loop back. I don't know if that will help at all.

Is this IP address 192.168.0.2 reserved for this machine be it statically configured or a Mac address to IP address reservation set up on the router? Last thing you want is DHCP giving this IP address to another computer
Open Port Check Tool may be useful when running diagnostics
also IIRC Sky use dynamic IP assignments so your public IP address may change from time to time, have you setup any dynamic DNS on the router?
double check firmware is up to date on the router and just as a test, does it work in a DMZ (only for testing purposes do NOT leave it there)
