I've looked at these in the past in VM enviroment.
bascially an unatteneded install of XP that will then allow you to install a host other apps all of which have been fiddled to work. Fancy backgrounds and tweaks are also included
Even though this is completely illegal I was very impressed with the work that had gone into making it all work. Good to pull apart the files from the disk whcih give me ideas to make a legit one for building machines.
A virus scan may pick up a lot of items as it contains a host of keygens and hack tools......and possible other nasties as well.
So totally illegal > use with caution if you want to use it
I wouldn't recommend using it even though its been reported as free from nasty stuff IIRC. I was impressed with the work that had gone into it but I would frown upon the principle behind it
Flame suit at the ready and I don't condone piracy

Have a read of this.
Looking at that, it'll be a DVD containing a pre-serialized copy of XP Pro Corporate (it being Corp means no activation required), or it's a slipstreamed disk with an unattended install file with a key pre-entered, plus a funky black theme, hence the name, plus a whole shed load of other applications, all of which will have been cracked/pirated.
It's debatable wether it contains spyware/malware/trojans/viruses, and if you did decide to go for it, I'd build an Ultimate Boot CD from a known good machine, make sure the AV is up to date, and then after installing XP Black, I'd boot the machine from UBCD and run an AV/Spyware scan on it and see if anything is picked up, then, depending on how many things are picked up, decide what to do. You could end up spending a lot of team cleaning up all kinds of problems.

At the end of the day, what is there to be worried of? Once you install a software based firewall you are in control of any outbound requests that may or may not be legitimate.
V4.19 is well documented and if obtained from a trusted source, is perfectly fine.
