Default Excel help

Hi all

I have an Excel workbook that consists of about 12 sheets (artist, title, cd, etcof my music collection). Anyone know how i can do a workbook search for the word "black"and get it to produce a new sheet with all matching rows copied to the new sheet ?

Thanks

Dave

The easier option would of been to use one of the 100's of free music catalog progs available.

Not really, as he would need to reenter his whole music catalogue into said app And which decent ones are free? The only one of any use I use is MP3 collector, which isn't free.

You are right, but the way I catalogued them was ripping them all to 320k MP3 and then using MP3Tag to create a .csv file from the tags. I have many many thousands of tracks so it would have taken me ages manually !!

Bio - thanks alot for this, will mail you something.
