Outlook 2007 strpping html emails into txt
Can anyone help me out. A friend is receiving 99% of his emails no problems. HTML emails arrive as HTML emails, TXT emails arrive as TXT emails.
However, whenever hiltonhotels send him emails they get stripped from HTML into TXT emails. Can anyone explain why this is happening.
Here's a response from hilton on the issue:
The team that distributes these e-mails (hhonors@myway.hiltonhhonors.com) send them in both Text and HTML format and whichever email client you use accepts the one that is most compatible with them.
In this case, it seems like your email client is stripping the HTML version we send and converting it into a text version and we can see that this is the case due to the layout of the example you forwarded to me.
