You sure you havn't got dodgy blinkers and it was '09 haha.
Personally I dont think too much of this one, the graphics dont look as good but maybe its just cause its a demo. Not too sure about the new putting thing either.

I bought 09 at the start of the month for the 360 for Ł18. I'm not that impressed to be honest. Lots of bugs like getting stuck behind objects and having to swing blind, the commentary that's always a few seconds behind the shot and the online play that's dire having to watch everyone elses shot first! Don't get me started on trying to upload a Game Face!!! 
I think i'd rather put my Ł40 towards a few rounds of the local course instead.

I loved the putting from the demo. I've had several of the series on PC, PSP and PS3 (most versions since 99) and thought the whole thing was a nice progression.
Just my kinda thing and something to go at less than frantic pace.
