Just got to this part of the gane on "Medal of Honour"
Keep getting annihalated as soon as i take cover behind the U boat landing steels..............
Any ideas please...Its on medium difficulty.

if your damage is low, run to cover where there's a medic - he'll heal your wounds.

Run straight to the metal crosses and wait until more of your colleagues move up [press save] then run to the next cross. Once in shallow water use crouch to avoid those bullets that are looking for your head. Run to the medic to get some health back then do the same running and crouching manouvre to make your way up to the top of the beach.

Tip - once at the next stage, the bangolers (sp?) are at the left of the beach even though it seems like the captain or whatever is directing you to the right (rely on your compass not commands).

its not even as scientfic as above, once behind the tank obstacles bugger all seems to be hit.

get out the landing craft and head for the nearest one, you'll notice a concentrated burst on the tank obstacle your hiding behind and see little orange sparks from the ricochets, once this little burst and the orange flashes stop leg it to the next one.
Aim a little left of where you got out the boat and you'll meet a medic who tops you up. There's another at the edge of the beach before you take on the defences as well.

yep or i think so at least, havent played it for ages actually.
got very peeved in the snow level with snipers i cant even see who know im coming shoot me from behind a tree.

hate games like that, nothing for it but to blunder ahead, let yourself be shot so you can see them.

Yep that level was a bitch. I liked the one on the back of the jeep where u had to gun down all the planes on the airstrip.

I started playing this last night, and was not overly thrilled with the game.

Then I got to Omaha Beach. Jeeeezus. My heartbeat must have doubled. I've been playing and working with PC gaming now for 15 years and never have I played through a level on a game that had so much atmosphere and scared me up quite so much.

To think this depicts what actually happened, hats off to the old boys who were out there. I went to bed seeing bodies...
