Default Any media wiki experts?

I have an IIS windows installation running php hosting Media Wiki

I keep getting messages like this on uploading files
Could not rename file "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DataAnalytics\images\phpF9.tmp " to "public/Instrumenta.gif".

shouldn't that be public\Instrumenta.gif ???

does it still think it's running on penix?

how do i set it be using a '\'

I'm not an expert but run MediaWiki on my Windows PC within a WAMP setup (so Apache and not IIS) and uploading files works fine. Are you sure the user running IIS has write permissions in to the public folder?
