Spotify!
Am I the last person on the planet to have heard of this?!
http://www.spotify.com
I work from home so having such a large collection of music to listen to free of charge is awesome.
Downsides are that you can't transfer it to your MP3 player etc but for me that doesn't matter as I only really listen to stuff either at the PC or in the car.
OK with the free version you have to put up with the odd 10 second advert (usually asking for blood doners) but it's far shorter than listening to adverts on the radio or the drivel of the DJ's on a ego trip on Radio1 et all

I can't access it as it states it's not available in my country due to licensing restrictions, but from what I can see, it look as though it could be similar to Pandora (which also isn't available to me any more )

It was on the Gadget Show on Monday and looks pretty good IMO.
I just listen to the Itunes radio stations during the day, mainly dance stuff for me, Puls Radio, TechnoBase.fm etc.

That's where I heard about it DW
Thought I'd give it a try and amazed at how good it is. My tastes in music aren't particularly diverse so can't comment on the availability of less popular artists etc.

I'm in a band with a few guys from work and Spotify is a brilliant practice resource. I've made up our playlist and can now play along with all the songs and, if there's any bit I'm not getting right, can just keep going back to that section and repeating it. Much easier than tapes or CDs.
