Question

We use Access 2000 at work to enter our jobs and quotations. This works fine for printing a hard copy and faxing it on. But, what we would like to do is e-mail individual records. Personally, I don't think it can be done without sending the whole database. However, if you know different please let me know.

Cheers

TONY

You can email individual records in a good few formats - excel,csv,html......

depends what you want to do with them at destination....import them into another db, format/present them in a certain way.....

Crispin

We need to present it as a formal looking quotation at the destination.

The Export to HTML in Access 2000 isn't bad. You can define a template for Access to use if required.

A bit of leg work would probably generate some good results. Look up "Export" in the online help and then select Export a Report to static HTML.

Alternatively export the report to file and create a spreadsheet or word document to import the data into the required format.
