Mac to Mac remote program which is best?
Hi all,
I know there are loads of remote access packages for Mac's based on VNC typically but my question is which one is best? This would be used by lectures to remote into thier Mac machines from Mac machines using Tiger or leopard. They would use A Cisco VPN client also to connect to the Uni network, then remote into thier machine. Maybe tunelling over TCP port 22 would be an advantage but not essential, ideally the prog would have to be free but if the cost could be justified we could look into that

If they are running Leopard then I'd first try the built in Screen Sharing app, which can be found here:
/System/Library/CoreServices/
It's called ScreenSharing.app. Pop a copy of it on the Dock and fire it up. You may also want to have a look at these hints to add a few additional, normally hidden, options to the Screen Sharing app.
For non Leopard users, or if the Screen Sharing app doesn't cut it for you, then Chicken Of The VNC is worth a look. It's what I use if I'm not on Leopard.
