Firstly, I *know* it's probably very sad However, you don't ask, you don't get.

I thought I'd setup a quick thread on here for people who are playing Mafia / Mob wars and who wish to increase their mob / family numbers.

1) Login to Facebook

2) Click the Profile button and then select the complete link that appears in the address bar, it will look something like this:

Copy the selected link, then paste it in this thread

3) To add someone, click on the link, and it should open up a friend request page in Facebook. I would strongly suggest adding a personal message along the lines of "Requesting to be added in Mob / Mafia Wars" (if you just want Mob then only put mob, and vice versa, or put both!)

4) Then all you need to do is wait until the friend request is accepted and then go into Mob / Mafia wars and from the recruitment section, send a request to the new friend.
If you wish, you can then delete that friend. To aid this (I've been using the "add me!" threads on the Mob Wars forum to add people) I've created a new "Mob Wars" friend list, and when I send a friend request, I add the user to this list, thus making it easier to remove them, as typically you just want the user in the mob but not as a friend.
