Cheap laptop £200ish?
Hi all,
We need a new laptop at home for mrs chop and daughter just to browse internet. They didn't look after the last one so i'm only buying a cheap one.
Had a search on laptops direct and dell but nothing really below 300 which seems a bit steep. Especially as my nc10 which is a quality bit
of kit was only 300.
Would prefer a 12-15 inch screen if possible.

Have you thought about tracking down a used one ? I got a compaq nc6000
HP Compaq Business Notebook nc6000 Review on CNET UK
from a fellow scoobynetter for your budget. It's about a fashionable as genital herpes but is a solid performer. Came with a clean drive and a fresh OS install and has worked 100%. In fact I'm on it now LOL
