Default Mobile Broadband

Does anyone know whats the best mobile broadband (the ones with the dongles) offer around is, the girlfriend wants it and as its her birthday in a few weeks i thought id get it her.

I've noticed that carphone warehouse do offers where you get a laptop with the offer, are these laptops any good? Good enough to run AutoCad?

Any help/advise would be greatful!

Maplins are sellin the dongles for 30 quid if it helps, most want about 50 for PAYG,
Id suggest checking the coverage of where its going to be used the most as service varies a lot and just buy that 3g sim card for the dongle to suit.

I just saw an advert for '3' and that was very impressive: 15gb for £15 a month! It does have a 24 month contract though.

Most other networks are offering 3gb for a similiar price (although the one I'm with (T-Mobile) also includes access to wireless hotspots for free).

Just checked coverage (Orange, 3, O2 and T-mobile) T-mobile is the only one i can't get coverage on.

Cheers just looked on 3's site, looks about right what she would want. She'd only use it for Facebook, hotmail and MSN. She wouldn't download anything, she wouldn't know how too!

theres vodafone as well, do you want contract or pay as you go.

She soon find out how to download!!

Contract as i'll be paying for it for her!

She's a one finger typer, trust me she wouldn't have a clue where to even look to download!
