I'm very disappointed.

Poor spec iMacs so I can't justify purchasing (no quad core)

and the Mac mini - £499 and £649 - WTF?

Apple lost my custom today.

Yeah, we needed another iMac but the price seems hundreds more than yesterday...

Sure the top 3.06 mhz was 13xx or 15xx NOT 1800

Guys bear in mind Apple have not continually increased it prices weekly like many other manufacturers. From my visit to Apple last week I think they are more interested in the bsuiness market and people who buy on value for money not just price. They are adamant thier products offer great value and a great user experience which I'd agree with.

Oh and the MacBook Pro 15" looks to have had a speed bump too which was not very obvious

Apple have always costs more intially - and had that Value for money - which included good specs. I'm not sure that is the case any more. (although the OS and experience does add value)

But I think most people just look and see that it costs more to buy an iMac today than it did on Monday - with little perceived hardware increase.

I built a quad-core Windows box to convert DVD/Video. If the mac had similar spec I would have bought an iMac even though it would have cost at least double what I built this box for.

I do still fancy a (refurbed) Macbook Pro though
