logmein remote pc access ??
Having just purchased a second pc - a little acer aspire netbook I occured to me the old programme that I once used years ago named- logmein remote computer control software would be ideal for accesing the main pc from the little netbook, visited the official " logmein " website but appears that they dont offer a free version anymore ??
anyone confirm this ?? if so is there any other free versions that offer similiar facilties ??

Yep, have it on the relatives PCs and a couple of people I worked with, works a treat.
Although I did use the vista in built "request help" thing the other day and it worked great too although that won't help you.

LogMeIn is very good. They have also just released a (purchasable) version for the iPhone/Touch.
If you just want to access your PC whilst at home using your laptop (i.e. within your LAN), remote desktop is much quicker.

Okay thanks guys, funny enough came across this iphone version on one off the torrent sites just the other day, was reported as being rather good !!!
