Default Iphone Ringtones help

Well Search is knackered so I'm asking a question that even I know has been done to death. All google search methods arn't working on new itunes/latest iphone version.

Anyone got a good method of changing an MP3 to ringtone ?

If you have a Mac, use Garageband. Or send your cheesy house tune to me and I'll convert it

Just convert the MP3 file to an AAC file in Itunes by right clicking it and selecting 'create AAC version' , then rename it with the file extention .m4r. You might need to change a setting in folder options in Vista to view all file extensions.
Then just import the file into Itunes and it will automatically appear under Ringtones.
