Iphone Ringtones help
Well Search is knackered so I'm asking a question that even I know has been done to death. All google search methods arn't working on new itunes/latest iphone version.
Anyone got a good method of changing an MP3 to ringtone ? |
If you have a Mac, use Garageband. Or send your cheesy house tune to me and I'll convert it :D
|
I'm on Vista :(
and it's not Euro pop it's worse ..... Metallica :) |
I use Iringer iRinger :: iPhone Ringtone Factory [iPhone Ringtone, iPhone Ringtones, iPhone Ringtone Maker, iPhone Ringtone Creator]
works fairly well and auto sends tone to itunes |
Just convert the MP3 file to an AAC file in Itunes by right clicking it and selecting 'create AAC version' , then rename it with the file extention .m4r. You might need to change a setting in folder options in Vista to view all file extensions.
Then just import the file into Itunes and it will automatically appear under Ringtones. |
Thanks guys,
Tried iringer but it made all mp3's jump and skip ? I just did it manually in the end seting a start and stop time then converting to aac. Changed the file to .m4r and hey presto :) Cheers |
Not a converter but I use
Audiko There are thousands of popular tones and there is an editing tool too. Dont know if its any good to you.... |
also have a look on you tube there's videos to show you how to make them :)
