Rugged USB memory stick please :)
It's not for me but for the rough and tumble of going to school and back 
, his 4GB Sandisk Cruzer Tag disintegrated after a few months of kicking around in his bag etc..
There was thread on here a couple of months ago but I can't find it
any idea's most welcome

If you've got the cash, can't beat Ironkey for physical and data security.
I've got a rubber corsair thing that's rubbish but a Dane Elec cheapo that gets kicked around everywhere and has been sound so far. Not toughened or anything, just seems sturdily built.
