I need a program to read out selected documentation.. I'm doing my CCNA and get bored just reading..

Any suggestions.. I've been using a program that I need to copy and paste the words into.. I want one that will read with a key stroke when selected ..

If you have a Mac then you should be able to open the document and select all the text, and then, from the Services menu (It is found under the Applications' menu) select the "Start speaking text" command from the Speech menu. It will then read the text to you using whatever voice you have configured.

By default the Start/Stop speaking commands do not have key combinations attached, but you can very easily configure key combinations for this.

If you're on 10.5 then I'd recommend using the "Alex" voice. You can configure the voice settings via the "Speech" preference pane.
