Default Power Policy Manager unable to reserve hibernate file?

Got two problems with my PC - I can't set up a swap file, and I can't hibernate, with the error above.

Google'd it, tried everything out that I've found so far no luck.

Has anyone come across with this problem themselves?

Thanks,

m

How much free space do you have on your hard drive?

What OS?

65 gig free, xpsp3.

I'm thinking there's a wierd permissions thing going on, but I've made sure System, Administrators and my login have full access to all drives.

It also won't let me have a swap file on any drive.

Thanks,

m
