LP to MP3: Free recording software?
I want to rip some (antique ) records to MP3.
I have my retro Technics J300R hooked up to my amp which in turn feeds to the PC's line-in, and its all sounding ok; even with Vista's sound recorder.
But I want to record at a nice and high sampling and bitrate (48KHz+ 320kbps+) to maintain some form of quality.
Is there any decent freeware out there anyone uses thats good for the job?
This is something I haven't done for years, so I don't know whats out there now thats actually any good (and works on Vista x64).
Anyone have any recommendations of something that does the job ?
