Default Xbox 360 'Jasper'

Having been looking into Xbox 360's, I've read about the new 'Jasper' chipset.

Is this worth waiting for, or is a current Falcon good enough?
Heard it's quiter and less likely to suffer from RROD

Much lower power requirements (150W), less heat generation, improved reliability, built in memory card (no external memory card supplied)

Remember Jasper is more or less a hardware revision, whereas the Elite denotes bigger hard drive, etc...

So, if you mean will there be an Xbox360 with big hard drive featuring the new Jasper hardware revision, I'd say definitely!

Presactly what I was trying to ask I may treat myself to an Elite in the sales, so I'll try to keep an eye open for a Jasper one.

Difficult to spot - but if the power supply shows a label with 150W, it's most likely a Jasper.

There's also tell tale signs in the batch numbers on the labels but you'll need to google for more info:

I bought an Xbox360 last month for my brother-in-law and it wasn't a Jasper, sadly.
