That is cheap -- I bought the little brother (DNS-323) on eBay for £70 and that was a bargain (shops are retailing at £130 ish).

I've seen them on sale for upwards of £400. Got to be a mis-print on the website surely...

A better/cheaper way to have a NAS server is to just buy an old computer from some ware, a Pentium2, with 64mb of ram computer will do, buy a couple of 4port PCI SATA cards, so you can have 8 HDDs in total, so if needed 8TB+ (8000 gigabytes) of storage, install FreeNas FreeNAS: The Free NAS Server - Home and you have a highly customised NAS server
