i have a 6 year old camcorder witch uses tapes id like to put them on to my pc iv found this
EZ Grabber - USB Video Capture device. Transfer Video to DVD
dont now anything about leads and so on

I've not found a decent analog to digital converter (i.e. vhs -> computer) under £100. Every single cheaper one I have tried has produced pretty mediocre results, and don't cope well with things like dropouts, colour reproduction etc. I'd be very dubious about one only costing £35.

Have a look here for some decent converters....

looks like the one i paid about 12quid for on ebay

came bundled with ULEAD VIDEO SE software IIRC

it was ok for the purpose intended (crap old camcorder footage)
