Smile Ringtone help, please

Is it possible to only use part of a song as a ringtone for my phone.

I have "Feed the Word", which I want to use but don't want the whole song, only the chorus.

If it's not possible, anyone know any reputable and non subsciber sites

TIA

easy peasy... just use some sound editing software to cut the bit you want and save as an mp3.

Think Nero may do this for you

One of the guys on here recommended mp3DirectCut to me a couple of months ago and it works a treat.

mp3DirectCut - editor to cut, fade, split and record compressed mpeg audio

download it from your network, usually works for me, they will just have clips to download on the favourite or most popular part of a song

I always used to moan when I downloaded one and spent between £1.50-£3.00 and it was a 20second-long chorus!! when i wanted the whole thing, lol. Works for others

if not then as suggested up there, download it. im sure if you type "feed the world chorus" into limewire etc then just the chorus will be available

If you get stuck let me know, Ill find it, theres nothing on the net or a pc i wont find!

Lee, I would do it for you but I have packing to do, if you can wait until I get back...

Alternatively perhaps one of the nice young gentlemen here will do it for you?

The reason iTunes stuff won't go into your phone is because it's in the wrong format (AAC), you need to convert the tunes to Mp3 format. But I know you won't do that

Sal, you told me how to do that and if you recall, they seem to have removed that option. The swines

Thanks Milamber and HS. Much appreciated.

My daughter is getting the song elsewhere for me and will email it on. 14 years old and she puts me to shame on any techy stuff
