Need help with Half Life 2...........
I've been having a major headache trying to get the ingame console to work!
Since I stopped playing this like a year ago I have forgotten how to alter the cfg.file.....
Any help is welcome!

To get the console all you should need to do is to hit the ~ key on the keyboard. I think you might need to go into the options and configure something to allow the console to be shown.
What exactly do you want to edit in the cfg file, more specifically, are you wanting to add your own cfg file and then load that when playing a game?
An example of a cfg file I've used is as follows:
I named it my.cfg and placed it in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/YourSteamAccountName/half-life 2/hl2/cfg/
To get your config loaded, open the console up and type:
exec NameOfYourCFGFile

exec NameOfYourCFGFile

Thanks!
I wanted to sort out the rates and tweak some other stuff to help reduce the "crap" onscreen during the game.
I was having issues with the keyboard, and the cfg. The "~" was not working and only after several attempts did the cfg. get working propely !
Thanks for the tip
