GHOST 2003 USB DVD BOOT Disk
Help...
I am trying to create a bootable DVD to run ghost (don't have a FDD), the string works on on a machine with a FDD, but comes unstuck with the DVD, the DVD loads the USBASPI and then no longer sees the boot part of the CD, and I get the missing command.com ****.
Any ideas??
AUTOEXEC
@ECHO OFF
MSCDEX /D:USBCD001 /L:X
x:\Ghost\ghost.exe -clone,mode=load,src=x:xxxx.gho,dst=1 -sure
CONFIG.SYS
DOS=HIGH,UMB
lastdrive=Z
device=HIMEM.SYS
devicehigh=USBASPI.SYS /v /e
devicehigh=USBCD.SYS /d:USBCD001

Just looking at the following lines from Autoexec.bat and Config.sys
MSCDEX /D:USBCD001 /L:X
devicehigh=USBCD.SYS /d:USBCD001
I take it the DVD ROM drive is being brought up as your D: drive?
Have you tried making the disc a bootable CD disc rather than a DVD disc? And did you use the ghost utillities to create this disc?
