Can you "ping" SN while the problem is happening?
It might be that your ISP is doing some work at the same time each day which is "breaking" your interweb for a while...

Someone mention me?
Ok, when this happens, if you open a new window in Firefox and try to go to SN, does it fail? If you do the same thing and try and go to any other site, does it work or does it fail?
What exactly are you seeing on screen when you try and access SN (a screen shot would be nice)
You say you cannot ping it, can you check and see if you have "Command Prompt" listed on your Start menu, if you do, then when you see the problem, can you try the following:
1) Click on Command Prompt, it will give you a black DOS screen, type the following command and then press return:
(It's in a code box thing so the forum software does not convert it to a URL)
Wait until you get the little C:/> prompt back, it will have written stuff whilst running the command, can you tell me what it says.
2) Type the following command and then press return:
(It's in a code box thing so the forum software does not convert it to a URL)
Again, wait until you get the little C:/> prompt back, it will have written stuff whilst running the command, can you tell me what it says.
What I want to check is what it says for a ping to SN and a ping to Google. If they both time out then it's probably not a site specific problem, if it's just SN timing out then that is somewhat odd.
You say it happens nearly every day at the same time. Roughly what time is it when it happens? When it does happen, try turning the power off on your modem, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on, wait for it to startup, then try accessing SN again and see if you can get on.

Have to giggle a little at the picture taken with a phone/camera of the screen though, very thoughtful way of getting the screenshot.
As for the problem, have a read of this, it should help you solve it, and here is the "official" Mozilla (chaps who make Firefox) support document on the issue

Also Sara, sort your navigation tool bar out so you can use Tabs..
Right click on the reload button or the home button (or any of the blank space) then click 'Customise' then drag over the 'New tab'.
Personally I also prefer to show 'icons & text' and use 'small icons'
You then no longer need to have multiple browser windows open.

Go to the Task Manager and completly shut down Firefox, end the process, but before you do copy this...
firefox -safe-mode
Then goto Start>Run and copy the above in the box, then when that box comes up click on the reset toolbars and reset user preferences
