I have AVG free ver 8 and everytime I try to update I get this message
Invaild update control CTF file.

Any ideas

Alternatively, get a decent antivirus (i.e. one that actually works properly). You could do worse than Nod32...

Antivirus and Antispyware Software - Download ESET NOD32 Antivirus or ESET Smart Security and eliminate viruses
