Yes, pretty damn good for a free office suite.

Just set the default save file types as office compatible files so that people using MS office can still read/edit your files.

I'd say its better than office 2007, for the reason that its more like the old version office.

Installed it but didn't last, good but I have a lot of Excel with macros and it didn't like those. Too big a PITA to update the docs.

Have a lot of customers who use it as most prefer not to go the MS licensing route these days.

Most have no problems with it, even those who email files to other comapnies using microsoft software, however I have one customer who uses Excel with macros, as someone else stated and some times the microsoft macros dont work as they should.

You can give office2k7 the office 2k3 look with toolbar addons.

A couple of my staff use it, but we've had editing issues between Word and OO. Rendered OO totally useless IMHO.

My students tend to have Office 2007 (so it saves as a ".docx") - work won't roll out 2007 on the machines, so we use OO just to read the files.

Pretty good considering it's open source. Almost as good, but not quite. Office for me (as I get both for free anyway!)
