Ive got a 700MB MP4 file and i need to convert it to AVI, whats the easiest way. Is their any good free software out there or something else i can get via a torrent ?

Its also amazing that trying to be a smart @ss can make you look like a total pr1ck, the reasons people ask for certain types software on here is that they want software thats been tested and then is recommened by other users.

Some freeware contains spyware and all sorts of other crap and thats what i am trying to avoid hence the question, most of the time you get sensible responses in this section, some freeware also gives poor results which is what i am also trying to avoid.

I guess its law of averages that at least one pr1ck will come along every now and then trying to be smart.

Depends where you're wanting to play the file but easiest way is to just change the file name and edit the last 3 letters from mp4 to avi

My 360 wont pick up a mp4 file but will play an mp4 encoded avi...
