Default Business ISP

we are looking for a new ISP to replace Pipex,

Unsure about bandwidth at the moment, possibly up 100Mb/s (we will be hosting more services internally soon) will need to be redundant using HSRP or similar and will need a minimum of 20 static IP's.

Any recomendations?

Hey David

I recently got some good pricing back from Cogent UK for a layer 2/3 service. 100MB lan extension circuit. HSRP would have to be supported by cogent as well so need to check that out. You could get a layer 2 service to your datacentre and just VLAN it up! nice and cheap..

BT business - LOL - some real quality hubs sent out by BT with features not enabled needing them to be reflashed - which normally kills them !!!
The actual line and service is OK once thrown the BT supplied hub in the bin.

We get a good rates from both ClaraNet & from Zen

My advice: don't go with BT and don't go with Thus. Unfortunately, these are the only 2 suppliers that I can use where we're located (without adding millions onto my costs).
