Default Anything stronger than shutdown.exe for reboot?

i need something stronger to restart a PC. sometimes shutdown.exe -r is no good when an application hangs, it will just stop there. need to be done either on schedule task or remotely on the network.

Try poweroff - it can do schedule shutdown use it at work & at home to shut down the pc's. -it has a tick box to force application to close - which does come in handy. Dont think it can do network shutdown though
