I have been using ZA full suite for a long time, but a recent upgrade stuffed up my computer. I had to restore the system and it now takes ages to shutdown. Fed up with it. I see Nod32 is discussed here, what else is good? Than you.

I use bit defender, its got very good reviews and the firewall is decent as well. I used to use zonealarm however I experienced probs similar to yourself and also apparently the later versions contact zonelabs and send "information" to them

I'm really not a fan of all-in-one security solutions: just because a company can make (say) a firewall does not mean that their AV will be any good. Personally I use ZA Pro and NOD32 together. Both work brilliantly, and play together. NOD32 is probably the best AV out there.

Thanks guys, got rid of ZA and loaded Nod32 test for 30 days, see how it goes. Also got CCleaner to clear out all the crap. Runs much better and powers down properly now. ZA was a good product but the latest upgrade really stuffed my computer up.
