I have a client who is using my smtp service but they are constantly sending emails between themselves thus constantly making me hit my limit of number of outbound messages or bandwidth...

I could just charge them more and upgrade but I really want to also reduce unnessary outbound traffic.

What server software could I install on a windows XP pro machine that would act as a POP3 server and only send out if the recipient is on an external domain name.

Not free, but I have used VPOP3 for years with no problems. Has plenty of features for a small office and will happily sit in the background on a destop. £50 for 5 users.
