Macbook/Google..major problem..help please.
Recently downloaded Firefox3.0.1 to replace the Firefox 2 version on my macbook OS 10.4.11
Had a problem with google. Each time I clicked on one of the answer links I was directed to a shopping/index type page. Asked on the Firefox forum and was told I had a 'Trojan' !!! I always thought that Macs were bullet proof, anyway, downloaded a trial version of Macscan and it found and isolated a trojan , which I then trashed.
Now I don't know if all this is related or not, but every time that I now click on a google search term in the top righthand corner patch, the google answer page just shows the url below the link, no text info' at all.
What do I do to get back to normal ?
Thanks
