Default Feedback for CMR Dirt

After a recent dinner conversation with Campbell Roy about the Dirt series of games he stated that he needed feedback to give to Codemasters about the good points and bad points in the first CMR Dirt game

Need some feedback that i can hand over to Campbell Roy

I heavily pushed the need for a Simulation option as even the CMR range outsold RBR, RBR was still regarded as the pinnacle of rally simulation.

So what would you want in the next game and what did you hate about the last one?

I will print out the points and hand them over to him to fwd to Codemasters

I also want them to replicate L555BAT and make the stages longer

to be honest, the "handling" was pretty **** in dirt i thought, especially on the tarmac sections, it felt very "wierd"

it was better in grid......

although its been a long time since i have played dirt as i traded it in after finishing it..

Cool

My feeback would be that Dirt, was, well, a load of dirt, put politely. The handling was woeful. The sound was terrible too. All in all, it was like a racing game from 20 years agon but with decent(ish) graphics.

Considering they used basically the same engine for Grid, it's a mystery how they got it so wrong!

If they do another, I think they need to return to the values of the first few McRae games. Making you feel like you were a WRC driver even if you weren't! A true simulation? Well, I suppose you could include it as an option for people who have far too much time on their hands.......

Yep I think the game needs to move or have options to make the game feel more like RBR. Sadly its still a much better game to play just a little over hardcore. (4 some)

Using a steering wheel with dirt is a joke feels horrible, maybe some historic videos to put you in the mood and capture the true CM style of if in doubt flat out ….

Stop trying to pass it off as the "Ultimate Rally Sim" when it's so obviously not!
Take it back to just being about a 'rally championship', ie. cut out all the other cr@p classes.
