Had a free Wii from Orange some months back and I have yet to take it out of the box, mainly due to the fact that I'm not really interested in it. Although I was wondering, are you able to access and download previous Nintendo games?

I'm a bit of a retro SNES fan and would love to play old classics again like Secret of Mana, Zelda: A Link to the Past but to name a few.

Am I able to do this as I would keep the Wii purely for playing golden oldies.

If i recall, yes some earlier snes & other format neogeo? and other games are available for download, you have to pay for them mind, about £4-7 each

Plenty of snes/megadrive/nes/turbografx games to download but they cost a few quid each.

Get a nokia n95 and use the emulators with wiimote and tv out to play the classics

That's excellent news. Guess I'll be setting up the Wii some time soon then. I wonder if they have Chrono Trigger available for download? I had this on import many years back and absolutely loved it.
