MSN homepage, automated scripts?
The reason i ask is that whenever i load msn (its my homepage), it now puts the cursor in its search engine / address bar, and not the address bar at the top of the page, so if i want to go to a web address, i end up with a search of that web address. Its starting to p*ss me off now.
I dont want to navigate away from MSN as a home page, as i haven't found anything else as interesting / reduced add ridden etc

Google.co.uk is the king of homepages. Simple and quick.
If you want to browse msn's news then just enter msn.com
But in all fairness, whatever homepage you have set and click home it doesnt put the cursor to the address bar. They don't want you to leave ,why would they do that??

It's a simple script that does it. Google and Yahoo both do it too. Seeing as they are search engines, they assume you are going to search for something when you visit their homepage. Hit ALT+D before typing the address if you want direct input or set your homepage to a blank one.
