Folk over the last couple of months my computer has become very cery slow ive backd up all my files and i want to wipe the hard drive and basically start from scratch again can anyone help me in doing this as i can find any thing on my computer apart from restore to a previous dats,

also cant find much in the BIOS

when your PC boots from cold, at the screen where it checks your memory - press PAUSE on your keyboard.

Did your PC come with an XP/Vista disc or a recovery disc??
If so pop it in your drive then reboot your system. Should read from CD and take you into an installer there will be an option in there to wipe and re-install windows.

Reboot your computer ? Turn it off at the wall and back on .. that'll reboot it !

If you mean format .. then you need a windows CD .. or a recovery CD .. unless of course you PC comes with a recovery partition ..
