Latest PS3 software update

Anybody else know what this 'trophy' stuff is all about, didn't really have chance to look online last night as I was late for a CoD4 appointment

Presuming its a bit like the Xbox live thingy doofer?

It's the PSN version of "achievements". Ie.recognition of a given feat in a given game.

I've never been particularly bothered by the whole concept.

Yeah, trophies ate basically PS3's achievements, some games have them, some don't - a lot of games contain support for them already and the devs are patching them so their awarded retrospectively (Burnout Paradise) but others need to be played again in order to unlock them (Uncharted)
