I need to print some pictures off to frame and show relatives etc.

Canon S800/S900 is the dogs danglies (about £300) if this is too expesive then one of the Epson Stylus Photo printers for around £170.

If you want photo quality then the glossy photo paper is the one to use but it can be expensive (around £15 for 20 sheets).

Got an Epson 870 a year or so ago, superb, people can't tell the difference. Your welcome to meet up and see some results, or Jessops in Leeds were very helpful in showing my sample prints on various printers/cameras.

I picked up a HP 845C up for £60 from Scan recently. The photo results are very good, not as sharp as a dedicated Photo Printer but still, if your not that bothered then just get a nice Epson or HP printer, the newer ones will produce decent results on glossy paper

Thanks chaps. Looks like an Epson wins the day which is good as I did not really want a dedicated photo printer.

Cheers

PC Pro's current A List inkjet is the DJ 990Cxi.

I've got the 970cxi and it's a cracking all rounder. I'll do you a test print if you want Tony?

Cheers Chris, but I am an Epson man at heart. I have only got the HP 640C because Dell threw it in FOC.
