Anyone here use Avast 4.8 pro anti virus ?? normally use Kaspersky but just expired hence change.

wonder if anyone knows just how well this particular av title is rated within the pc press etc ??

I use Avast 4.8 at the mo and think it's rather good.

Recently had a virus of Facebook (oddly it was when i went onto a friends profile page ) avast picked it up ,had nice simple instructions of what to do and got rid of it quickly and easily.

 

Okay cheers for the input guys, decided to give BitDefender 2008 a try this time, seems to get some good reviews .

do like Nod32 myself, very easy to use and very light on the pc but seems not to receive too many decent reviews from the pc press for some reason ?? in saying that seems like no two magazines will agrea on what av is best and am convinced that a lot off a/v software reviews are rigged ??
