Default Weird iTunes "bug"

I have an album "split" in two.

track one on one album and the remaining tracks on the 2nd.

Album title, album artist, artist are all the same (as it everything else I think) so why is it being separated?

First thought is that there is a space at the end of one of the aforementioned fields. This wouldn't be visible to the naked eye, but iTunes would see and recognize it as being different. Simply edit the odd-man-out and right arrow to the end of the line, see if there are any spaces.

What you could do is to select all the tracks for the album, then use the mutli-edit feature and explicitly enter the artist, ablum and artist-album fields, that would make absolutely sure they are the same.

definitely no spaces etc. however I edited some and no joy. Tried again by copying/pasting the titles etc and that worked!

Maybe hidden gubbins were in there somewhere....

thanks Marcus.

Check the info on the Sorting tab too. Chances are that that one track has a difference here.

Oops just seen you fixed it.
