Trend Client Builder
I am trying to setup Trend Client 8.0 on a Laptop, the laptop will never connect to the server, but I want the user to update it using the update now function.
Does anybody know how to built a client from the server, that will look to the trend update sitem, rather than the server for it's updates ??

It's quite simple. Log into the OfficeScan server and browse to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\ClientPackag er (assuming you have selected the default install path)
Double click ClnPack.exe all the settings you need are in there. Just make sure you tick the Update Agent this means the updates will be collected from the Internet if the trend server is not contactable.

I take it the client will alsways bee offline, as it will never meet the server?.
