Default Can anyone test this download?

Im on Pipex up to 8mb and my download speed appears to be somewhat lower recently. Was downloading the Grid demo from Codemasters the other night and settles down to about 120K/sec. When I tested from work I got 1.88M/sec so the bandwidth is there.

Just tried a download from my work FTP account and similar speed and I know the bandwidth is definetly ok to that server. It used to be closer as work was the Upstream provider before Tiscali took them over.

Can a couple of you guys start the Grid download and see what speed you settle at:

RACE DRIVER GRID ™| CODEMASTERS

Cheers,
Simon

Cheers Pimmo. Not so bad if others are getting similar speeds for the grid demo. Thing is I get the same 125K/sec for that BF d/load you posted and also same from my works ftp.

Will try and get a mate on Pipex to try at same time and see if its just me as so far Im struggling to get over 200K/sec anywhere and Ive seen over 600K/sec in the past.

Yep even IE7 from MS at this time in the morning just hits a meagre 120K/sec.
Ive tried also downloading via FTP (via XP cmd line) just to rule out a problem with IE but same results.
